 Associated Builders & Contractors, a local training facility, this aerial photo shows how extensive this project was and one that we were very proud to have been the general contractor of.  Building materials consisted of a steel interior with a traditional stucco exterior.  This building has been our most architecturally beautiful project to date.

Completion of a chemical containment structure occured this month and our Client took this great photo. CSI was responsible for the concrete and metal structure portion of this project.

Construction work is taking way at the new truck wash facility located in Lost Hills, CA.  This new truck wash will be constructed with a 12,000 sq ft metal steel building which will be located on a 1.28 acre lot.  The steel building will have a 5,400 sq ft wash area with 2 bays, a 4,500 sq ft service and repair area also with 2 bays, a 2,100 sq ft off

On 4/1/2011 CSI Contractors, Inc. completed their yearly Fire Extinguisher Safety Training Course.  This training course was very informative on the various types of fire extinguishers, their usues, and the proper way to put out a fire.  Safety is vital in the construction industry and with the hot weather upon us it is important to stay ontop of the game.&

Today was the official ground breaking ceremony for the Vocational Facility by Associated Builders and Contractors. On February 10, 2010 CSI Contractors, Inc. became  a Certified Small Business with the State of California.  This is the first time that CSI has been certified in this division with the State of California.   This Small Business Certification is just one more way for CSI to maintian a competitive edge in the construction industry.

Hooters of Bakersfield had a very large turnout for their Grand Opening on October 26, 2009.  Billboard advertisements for the Bakersfield location have been in place off of Highway 99 for months and residents of Bakersfield have been eagerly awaiting the Grand Opening.  More pictures have been posted in the Photo Gallery.

Hooters takes shape as the exterior of this building is taking on the characteristics of a Hooters restaurant. In recent weeks the famed "Hooters" sign has been added to the facade along with bright orange window awnings. This much anticiapted restaurant is estimated to open in just a couple months.

Eco-friendly recycling center breaks ground this month. Work has begun on this new 33,000 sq. ft. building, designed to process the precious metals from discarded electronics for reuse. Progress photos will be posted soon.

CSI Contractors Inc. received the 2008 Volume Builder Award from HCI Steel Buildings for the fourth year in a row. Ron and Cara Paulk were at the HCI Annual Builders Cruise in February 2009 to accept the most honored award offered from HCI Steel Building Systems.

Ground Breaking for a new almond sheller in McFarland, CA. began 01/12/09. This facility will be one of the largest nut hulling operations in California, and is expected to be on line August 1, 2009. Check back for updates.

The Rocket Shop Cafe was the venue of choice for this year's annual Christmas Party. We enjoyed the fact that we were able to host a party in a building we constructed just one year prior. Our large group was able to rent out Rocket Shop's banquet room where we dined on a delicious meal prepared by the cafe.

Golden Empire Shelling opened for processing almonds this month in Buttonwillow, CA. Congratulations to the Co-Op involved in the entire project that included a large building that housed all of the state-of-the-art equipment for hulling the meat of the almonds, and a separate office facility with a truck scale. Currently in the Planning and Development stage and with an anticipated opening date in late Fall of 2009, CSI Contractors is pleased to take part in the building of this long awaited facility. Announcing the completion of the Blue Star Truck Wash located on Warren Avenue in Lost Hills just North of Hwy 46. Constructed using a pre-fabricated metal building. CSI Contractors Inc was recognized as HCI Steel Buildings Volume Builder of the Year, for 2006. Awards were given on the Annual HCI Builders Cruise, this year at the Bahamas and Ron Paulk was present to accept it. This is a fairly new award offered by HCI Steel, and CSI Contractors is proud to announce that they are the only recipient to date.

CSI Contractors has recently signed on with several major investors to develop local properties into tenant improvement rentals. Current projects planned will develop over the next two years. Watch for posting of project photos.
